Aquathon Series is back

Well done to everyone who took part in the Crossmolina Aquathon today, especially Lucas and Celene who were the male and female winners respectively.

The hugely popular Aquathon Series that was held last year is back. It will be run over the next 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings meeting at the Gortnor Abbey pier at 7pm.

To keep things simple there will be no handicap system in place this year therefore everyone will be set off at the same time, no fee and unfortunately no post race refreshments. On the final night a BBQ wil be arranged for all the club members who took part in the series. 

The series will allow club members to use it as training in preparation for the upcoming triathlons. However there may be a prize for the most improved male and female over the series.

    Sunday 22nd April 2012 @ 12.00pm.Register on the morning of the race at the Community Centre from 10:00 - 11:30 am or register www.runireland.ie    Refreshments and prize giving and will take place in Foxford Community Centre afterwards.Race in memory of Martin Boyle.
