Race 2 of Summer Aquathlon Series

Another good turn out of 'Liquid Motioners' for Race No. 2 of the Gortnor Abbey Summer Aquathlon Series. It was TJ (Captain Quads) Coen who took maximum points having got a good handicap from the previous week (something to do with cramps!!), TJ did put in a good performance on the night for a deserved win, a new comer Emmet Cassery took 2nd with John Callaghan in 3rd. There were several good individual performances, Deirdre Lynn taking almost a minute of last weeks time and John Callaghan destroying his time from last week, I think if John gave the towelling dry a miss after the swim next week who knows what he might do. Don't worry the handicaps will be adjusted accordingly. Remember its the best 3 races that count. Well done to everyone who took part and for the assistance with water safety, my apologies for the errors in the timing. See you all in 2 weeks (22nd August)
