Triathlon Ireland AGM

The Triathlon Ireland AGM will take place on the 24 November 2007. The End of Year Awards dinner will be in the Davenport Hotel on Saturday, 24 November 2007. Please read on for further details. The AGM will take place on the 24 November 2007. This has been a very important year for the sport and there are many plans in discussion for next year. The AGM will be the forum for presentation and discussion of these. All affiliated clubs will need to send representation, and members are encouraged to come and take part in the decision making process. Further details will be sent out to clubs and be available on this website later in the week. It has been a great year for the sport, record numbers of members, and some great races. To celebrate this Triathlon Ireland are hosting an awards dinner at the Davenport Hotel, Dublin, at 6:30pm on Saturday, 24 November 2007 (the night after the AGM). This will include some photo and video footage of the year, some guest speakers. We'll also be celebrating the fact that the sport of Triathlon in Ireland is 25 years old. The dinner will be black tie attire, tickets will be priced at 50 euro each, but clubs can book tables of 10 people for 450 euro, this should be done through clubs secretaries. Juniors and students will get a slightly cheaper rate, please contact us. Winners of age group and first three in National Championship races will get free tickets. Any clubs wishing to book tables for the dinner, please send cheques to 'Triathlon Ireland', and a list of names for the table to the normal address.
