* Under TI (Triathlon Ireland regulations for insurance purposes a 1 day licence fee of €10.00 is charged to athletes who do not appear on the 2008 TI membership database on race Course Description ; Challenging Hilly Outside ‘n Back Course Over 2500ft of Ascent / Descent, High Point 1137ft at Mile 4 and 8 Approx . Low Point 6ft Start / Finish The Race starts in Market Street , Kenmare and continues past the Church / Secondary School , straight on up past Kilmurray, after about 2.2 Miles the Route goes on to the Trail / Pathway. From there it’s a Trail , which at times is rough i..e. Shales and Railway Sleepers also on the Boggier Sections, Turn Point near Galways Bridge
