- Ladies Tour of Lough Gill

Saturday, September 26 2009, IT Sligo Car Park
Registration at 10 am for start at 11 am
The event is a 40k leisure cycle aimed at encouraging ladies to take up cycling or to continue with training they may be doing already. The tour will be conducted at a steady pace with no cyclist being dropped and full assistance along the route.

- Lough Key Training

A training session has been organised with a eye on the upcoming Lough Key Triathlon which takes place next weekend.
I am aware that a number of club members are taking part so I have decided that a lake swim would be benifical. The reason being that there is definitely a difference between swimming in the sea and in a lake. I would recommend the lake swim to anyone who is taking part in Lough Key.
The swim will take place in Lough Conn at the Gortnor Abbey Pier at 7pm and in keeping with tradition there will be a 5K run afterwards so make sure to bring the runners.
As usual this training session is open to all members and anyone who takes part does so at their own risk.
