- Spring Duathlon Series 2010 - Race 3 Results
- We were blessed with another dry day for the final round of the duathlon series at the Ramada Hotel. As with the previous two instalments it was fiercely competitive from the off. Tom O'Dowd went out like a rocket on the opening run but was eventually over hauled before the first transition with Gareth McCormack leading in, closely followed by Tom, Stephen Donnelly and Paul Dunne. Out on the bike and into the strong headwind on the N26, Paul Dunne hit the front with only Gareth able to follow. These two went into T2 together and Gareth eked out a lead on the final run to come home in 37'24" - a time identical to Paul's course record from the March round. In the women's race Deirdre Lynn was first home again with a very quick 45'45". Well done to all who took part in the series and thanks to Paul and Mary Dunne for timings, prizes and organising post-race food and refreshments. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend.

- Last Night of Swimming
- Just a quick note to let everyone know that this Thursday is the last session of swimming training. It will be slightly different from the usual sessions as we try to make things a little more "fun" hopefully! We should be hitting the Atlantic come the end of May.
