TI Training for race officials and race directors

Triathlon Ireland are organising training for race officials and race directors to take place on Saturday 6th March in Galway (see TI Web site for details).  I will attend as race director for our PowerAde Salmon Run Triathlon 2010, and Deirdre Lynn has confirmed her attendance which is great as Deirdre took on board the role of TD in 2009 and supported several events.  Stephen Donnelly has also volunteered to attend and represent our club as a TI race official.  Please can you let me know by replying to our club email address, replying to this news item, or giving me a call, if you are interested in attending this training and representing TI (and Liquid Motion) as a race official during the 2010 season.

    Thanks

    Bernard

    CLub Meeting Monday March 1st

Everyone, I am calling a club meeting to take place at the Dock Bar at 8pm on Monday March 1st.  The purpose of the meeting is to form a Committee to lead the organisation of our 2010 PowerAde Salmon Run Triathlon.  As we all know this is our main club event of 2010, and this year has the added importance of being accepted as a a TI National Series Event.  I ask everyone to attend as it is important that we form our strongest organising committee to date to build on all of the successes, and that we as a club continue to ensure that the PowerAde Salmon Run Triathlon is one of the premier Triathlons on the Irish calendar.

    Thanks

    Bernard

    Cycle Transport Box
Hi Does anyone have a bicycle hardcase that I could rent or borrow for 2.5 weeks in March? Going to South Africa and can't justify forking out €250 for a new. Having said that, if I borrowed yours and anything happened to it, I'd replace it of course. Please let me know. Thanks, Simon rees.qs@gmail.com
