Calling all Liquid Motion Club Members. On Monday 5th July there will be an organising Committee Meeting for our SalmonRun2010 Triathlon, at 7pm in the Dock Bar. All Club Members are asked to attend as we have much work to do to finalise all preparations for our Salmon Run 2010. The weekly club swim meet at Enniscrone will not take place on Monday 5th July to allow all club members attend our meeting.
Thanks

- Practice swim of SalmonRun2010 route
-
There will be a practice swim of the Salmon Run 2010 route this coming Thursday (June 24th) which has been organised with the permission of access to the slipway for the swim exit, and after advising the Fisheries. We will meet at Ballina Athletic Club Carpark (main entrance) at 5.30pm. We will then "car pool" to the start point and enter the water at 5.45pm. If you are joining then I ask that you do come first to BAC car park as we need to agree pool cars to bring people to the swim start and we also want to have a swim safety briefing. This will be the only organised practice swim of the River Moy in advance of our 2010 Salmon Run Triathlon. We are organising this event for Club members.
Anyone interested in doing the bike and run legs afterwards should make sure to bring along their gear.
See you on Thursday.

- Salmon Run 2010 Organising Committee Meeting
-
Colleagues
I have changed the date and time of our next Triathlon Organising meeting to this coming Monday (7th June) to take place at the Dock Bar at 5pm. This will hopefully allow time for all club members returning from participating at different competitions (or just away for the weekend) to join. Our intention is to end the meeting by 6.30pm to allow time for Club members to head to Enniscrone for a swim.
Thanks

- Our new club Jackets
-
We are delighted to announce that we will be getting new club jackets this year. The jacket is from Endura and is called The Pro Windtex® Jacket.
The Pro Windtex® Jacket is made from waterproof/windproof breathable membrane fabric. Perfect for severe winter conditions.
The Pro Windtex® Jacket has a thick brushed back inner for maximum insulation in very low temperatures. Additional features include; Flatlock stitching for maximum strength and comfort, reflective detail for improved visibility and zipped rear pocket compartment for valuables with media port.
Endura has claimed that we will have the jackets before The Salmon Run Triathlon however other suppliers have let us down in the past so keep an eye here on the website or on the Facebook and Twitter page for updates and a date for purchase. There is a limited number of Jackets in the different sizes. The jackets are unisex and it is the blue Mens size guide that people should look at.
Endura size guide can be found here
